Snofest Committee says thanks

On behalf of the Central Adirondack Association, we would like to extend our thanks to the following for their help with Snofest 2014:

The Town of Webb Super-visor and Town Council.

If it were not for the mutually strong partnership between the Town of Webb, CAA, and the local business community, this event and others like it would not exist.

Again this year, Casey Crofut and his crew at the Highway Department as well as Tim Pylman and his snowmobile trails team did a fantastic job to move the snow to create the infrastructure for the demo rides and kept the trails in top notch condition all weekend.

We would also like to thank our sponsors: Arctic Cat, Polaris, Ski Doo, Yamaha, North South Connection, and Trails End Saloon.

Honorable mentions include Chief Russell and his police force, our parking crew of Ed Booton, Chip Kiefer, Mike Greene, Dick Bird and Jeff Lebuis; Enchanted Forest/Water Safari, American Legion Covey Pashley Post 893, Key Club student volunteers and Advisor Diane Amos, our security team  of Russ Brombacher and Patrick Venetz, the Webb pavilion crew of John Mitchell, Kent Massacar and Mike Notley, volunteers from the Eagle Bay Volunteer Hose Co. Ladies Auxiliary, CAA Events Coordi-nator Laurie Barkauskas, Mike Farmer and the staff at the Old Forge Visitor Information Center.

Our most extreme thanks to our dedicated committee members Doug Smith, John and Linda Sarkisian of Smith Marine, Phil and Jon Martin of Big Moose Yamaha, Jamie Loson of Don’s Polaris, and a heartfelt thanks to all of the volunteers that helped us throughout the weekend…we could not do it without you!  Thank you to all.
