Carl M. Kafka, 61, passes away

Carl M. Kafka, 61, of Inlet and formerly of Lewis County, died unexpectedly at his home on January 13, 2014.

He loved hunting in the Inlet and Highmarket areas. A talented artist, he preferred oil painting, and enjoyed using stumps, mushrooms and saw blades, among other things, as his canvas.

In his later years, spending time with his grandchildren became most important to him. Carl cherished every moment he spent with them.
