Another beautiful season of flower baskets across the region has ended. This year marked the 15th season of the hanging basket program, and approximately 230 baskets were planted, watered and hung in the Town of Forestport and the Town of Webb, including Thendara, Old Forge, Eagle Bay, Big Moose and Stillwater.
CAP-21 would again like to thank all who came out for our annual Flower Potting Party and got dirty, as well as our dedicated corps of volunteer waterers.
We would also like to recognize recent donations from: Country Club Motel, Hunkins Excavating, Old Forge Sport Tours, Steak House, The Wigwam, Thendara Automotive, Wilderness Interiors, Margaret and Robert Haskins, and Diane and Tom Hartney.
We would like to also thank Fred Trimbach for his 15th year of volunteering his coordination of this community beautification program.
In addition, CAP-21 is planning a continuation of the Holiday Season baskets which will be up in time for Christmas on Main Street in Old Forge.
