The Fall Scramble at Thendara Golf Club held on Sunday, September 1 saw the participation of 108 golfers.
The event began with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Following the event golfers enjoyed hors d’oeuvres provided by The Grill Room.
“The weather was beautiful and the course was in great condition. Thank you to Rich Chapman and the Pro Shop crew, Matt Simon and the greens crew, and Jim Holt and staff of the Grill Room for a wonderful event,” said Club member Kathy Nahor.
Taking first place in the Women’s Division (Gross) were Holly Harlow, Jessie Wagner, Nancy Amarian, and Pennie Carlo.
First place in the Women’s Division (Net) were Nancy Buckley, Evelyn Ouellette, Fran Smyth, and Kathy Nahor.
In the Mixed Division (Gross), taking first place was Lee Welch, Kathy Welch,
Charlie Haggerty, and Margaret Haggerty. In second place was Frank Mutz, Sheila Mutz,
Kurt Kohles, and Mary Kohles. And placing third was Michael Kilcher, Michelle Kilcher, George Hiltebrant, and Nick Isele.
In the Mixed Division (Net), first place winners were Don Hilliard, Janet Hilliard, Mike Evans, and Helen Evans
Taking first place in the Men’s Division (Gross) were Tom Down, Cory Down, Bill Down, and Rick Down. Coming in second was Robert Risley, Richard Hart, John Ehrensbeck, and Douglas F. Eaton. Third place finishers were Kevin Buckley, Bill Buckley III, Bill Buckley, and Jack Andrew.
In the Men’s Division (Net), first place finishers were Fred Hickey, Frank Marinelli, Frankie Marinelli, and Tim Tyrrell.
