Puppet show set Saturday at Souvenir Village

Puppet Master Ken Carman returns to Old Forge with a puppet show on Saturday, August 10 at 1 p.m. that will take place in the Souvenir Village parking lot on Main Street.

Carmen, who has presented several puppet shows in Old Forge in the past, will present his original songtale, The Lost Land of the Gibberands. The story revolves around main character, George, a boy who sings terribly and enjoys adventures such as flying to the ice cream mountains in The Lost Land of the Gibberands.

The family-friendly story will feature music and magic and audience participation is encouraged.

The show is free of charge and sponsored by Souvenir Village.

Carman is a 1972 graduate of the Town of Webb School and the son of Bill and Winifred Carman. He owns a camp at Beaver River where he spends several weeks every summer.
