Pablo Castro Letelier with Lesa Parent of Old Forge Liquors
Pablo Castro Letelier, an Old Forge property owner, tried to track down Lesa Parent, owner of Old Forge Liquors, for several days before he departed town to thank her for a special kindness to his sister, who has the opportunity to visit his local home more often than he does.
Letelier, who calls Chile home, is president of the Chilean wine company, Casa Patronales and Board Director of Brotherhood Winery of Washingtonville, NY, America’s oldest winery.
He wanted to thank Parent for ordering suggested wines for his sister, and also for making his wines available in her shop.
He finally caught up with her on his way out of town on Sunday, July 7, and as a gesture of gratitude he offered her the hat off his head.
