The Goodsell Museum in Old Forge will begin its Wednesday afternoon Lectures on the Lawn series on July 10 with a program by Town of Webb Historian Peg Masters titled, Dead Body at Bisby.
Masters will share an intriguing story of the mysterious death in the woods of a Civil War veteran.
Following an inquest in 1884, his bones were buried at the old Seymour Camp on Bisby Lake.
All are welcome to bring a folding chair and enjoy the free program which will begin at 2:30 p.m.
The Goodsell Museum is located at 2993 State Route 28, across the street from the Old Forge Post Office.
