In lieu of their January Meeting which is usually set for the first Tuesday of each month, The Friends of Old Forge Library will host their annual Library Friends Luncheon on Monday, January 23.
The luncheon will take place at the North Woods Inn from 11:45 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m. This is not a fundraiser. Rather, the Friends host this event to say “Thank You” to the community for their support in the previous year and to invite people to enjoy the many programs offered by the library in the New Year.
The price of the luncheon is $15 and includes entrée, soup or salad, dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
Those interested in attending the luncheon can sign up at the library during regular hours. Anyone needing transportation to the event can indicate so at the time of sign up and arrangements will be made through the organization.
