Twenty-three Town of Webb School band students traveled to Carthage High School to participate in the New York State School Music Association Solo Festival (NYSSMA) on Saturday, April 9th.
Partcipating students had to memorize 3 to 15 major scales, prepare a solo, and then complete sight reading for an adjudicator.
The young musicians, representing grades 5 to 12, are students of TOW School instrumental teacher Emily Herrmann.
