The Tree Classic Golf Tournament, a contest held for the past 23 years at Thendara Golf Club when the leaves are at their peak, took place on Friday and Saturday, September 26 and 27th.
This year’s field of 20 players enjoyed beautiful weather and magnificent colors during the 36-hole competition.
Each four-man team was captained by a CNY PGA Professional who was invited to play by tournament founder, Terry Kerrigan.
The winning team, captained by PGA professional Bill Galloway, included retired NHL player J.P. LeBlanc and two local members of the Thendara Golf Club, Tom Down and Scott deCamp.
They managed to edge out PGA professional Mike Steele, Steve Barker, Frank Karazuba, and Red Costello by a single stroke.
