The Adirondack Christmas on Main Street event in Old Forge and Inlet over the weekend of November 29, 30 and December 1 drew hundreds of folks to the area for a variety of activities that were enjoyed by family members of all ages.
Old Forge featured horse drawn wagon rides, stops at Candy Land, visits with Santa, Mrs. Claus and reindeer, tree lightings, and opportunities for unique shopping experiences.
Inlet provided a Candy Cane Hunt for kids, a viewing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, a Noah’s Ark Workshop, a best holiday pie contest, pet photos with Santa, wine and chocolate tasting, caroling and the tree lighting.
The 5th Annual Pet Parade attracted 35 dogs dressed in their holiday best.
The winner of the raffle for a basket of items donated by local businesses was won by Chris Sowalski of Deerfield and Sixth Lake.
Festivities continue in Old Forge on Saturday and Sunday, December 7th and 8th.
