SUNY Cortland students and educators to lead Webb school program

Students and professors from the SUNY Cortland teacher candidate program located at the college’s Great Camp Huntington in Raquette Lake will come to Town of Webb UFSD to participate in an educational night on Thursday, February 11.During the family-friendly event, the students and educators will provide activities focused on science, literacy, and math that are geared for students in grades kindergarten through 5, and their parents.

Doors open at 4 p.m. and snacks will be provided at 5 p.m. by the Webb Way Committee. The event will be held in the auxiliary gym in the basement of the original building.

Last fall, students in grades 3 to 5 enjoyed a lesson in history when they were invited to tour the Great Huntington Campus, the original Great Camp built by William West Durant.
