I have become aware in the past year of a situation that I neglected taking seriously for far too long. That was not a wise thing, and I realize now I am very fortunate not to have paid dearly for not doing so.
It occurred to me that your venue presents an opportunity for me to warn others not to be as foolhardy as I have been. And that means acting your age even though your brain tries to say you are not that old. Continue reading
The Town of Webb UFSD Board of Education held a meeting on Tuesday, December 15, where it reviewed the following information and took the following action.
Approved the Minutes of the December 1, 2015 meeting.
Approved the Warrants and Claims.
Approved the Treasurer’s Report for November 2015. Continue reading
Following is Superintendent Rex Germer’s Report from the Town of Webb Union Free School District’s Board of Education meeting held on December 15th. The regular capsule summary of the meeting, along with Principal Swick’s Report appear on Page 10.
As mentioned previously changes have started to occur with the Common Core and the Gover-nor’s stance on the teacher evaluation connection to the tests.
We are getting daily updates at this point and will look for final guidance from State Ed. before making any statement of evaluation of the changes that have been suggested. Continue reading

The participants of the Senior Health, Acti-vity and Recreation Program (SHARP) are very grateful to the Adirondack League Club for their donation to support our program.
Last Wednesday, we were happy to have Marie Adams lead us in a Christmas sing-a-long. Some members of the Niccolls Church choir also joined us as we sang mostly traditional songs about “…the most wonderful time of the year.” Continue reading
