Pedals & Petals of Inlet will raise awareness for breast cancer research, treatment, and prevention by hosting a casual, family-friendly bike ride on Saturday, October 10th.
The Breast Cancer Aware-ness Ride, open to men and women of all ages and abilities, will start at Pedals & Petals on Main Street at 10 a.m. and go down South Shore Road towards Old Forge. Continue reading

Tyler Socash on top of Mount Thielsen

Town of Webb school graduate Tyler Socash (Class of 2005) has made it more than half way on his dream-journey hike of the Pacific Crest Trail.
On September 15th, he had hiked about seventeen hundred miles, averaging roughly twenty-four miles a day.
Tyler has gone through thirty wilderness areas, five national parks, and swam in the three deepest lakes in the United States. Continue reading

CAP-21 hosted a gathering at Van Auken’s Inne on Wednesday, September 30 for the volunteers who assisted with this past summer’s hanging flower basket beautification project.

• An on-going investigation by Town of Webb Police resulted in the arrest of a 29-year-old Lowville, NY woman on Tuesday, September 29 at 10 a.m.
The woman was charged with Burglary in the 2nd Degree, Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, Petit Larceny, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Continue reading
Peter E. McCarthy II, 76 of Holland Patent passed away September 29, 2015 at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare with his loving family by his side.
Peter was born November 5, 1938 in Utica to the late Peter E. and Mary Malone McCarthy. He graduated from Holland Patent School in 1956.
Peter was united in marriage to Sharon Farrell on June 19, 1965 at St. Leo’s Church in Holland Patent and were fortunate to share 50 wonderful years together. Continue reading
