The Town of Inlet recently completed the installation of new carpeting at the Inlet Community/Senior Center located within the Town Hall.
CAP-21 coordinated the fund raising for this project which included support from the Inlet Young At Heart seniors, the Inlet Barnstormers Snowmobile Club, the Inlet Area Business Association, the Community Foundation, the Adirondack Foundation, the Town of Inlet and an on-line fundraising campaign through the Adirondack Gives website.
The new commercial-wear carpeting replaces old, frayed flooring which presented a tripping hazard and sustains a safe, beautiful gathering point for many of the area seniors, as well as for use by local groups and ongoing regional events.
The Town of Inlet invites all to come see and enjoy their beautiful community building.
