Town of Webb school’s Music Teacher, Valerie Gaudin, has announced that her students will be performing ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’ for their spring play in March.

The musical, by Frank Loesser, was first performed on Broadway in 1961. It won seven Tony Awards, the New York Drama Critics Circle Award and the 1962 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Continue reading

The Town of Webb School’s Drama Depart-ment will be holding a Chicken Barbecue fundraiser at the school bus circle on Route 28 on Saturday, September 13 beginning at noon.
The meal will include: half chicken, salt potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw and a homemade roll. Continue reading
The Town of Webb Union Free School District’s Drama Department presented the musical ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ on Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22, at the school’s gymnasium, which proved to be a huge hit for all ages. 
The pit band, stage crew and all the performers, including the lead roles of Annie Oakley and Frank Butler, played by Olivia Phaneuf and Westley Lamphear, did a stellar job, said audience members. Continue reading
The Town of Webb School’s Drama Department, under the direction of Valerie Gaudin and Anne DeFillips, held auditions on December 18 for its production of Annie Get Your Gun which will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22 in the school gymnasium.

The classic musical “Annie Get Your Gun” has been chosen for this year’s student production by the Town of Webb School Drama Department, and will be performed at the school on Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22.

Vocal Music Director Valerie Gaudin said that besides being a great musical, Annie Get Your Gun is ideal for the young cast she expects to be working with.
“I have mostly tenth graders this year and only a few seniors, so I needed a really fun musical to keep the kids intrigued,” she said.
“In addition, the crowd is sure to enjoy the show’s many well known songs,” she said.
This will mark the first staging of the musical at the Town of Webb School.
The classic musical, Annie Get Your Gun, has been selected as the Town of Webb School Drama Department’s annual musical production that will be presented in the school gymnasium on Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22.
Town of Webb School’s Vocal Music Director Valerie Gaudin has scheduled auditions for Tuesday, December 17 beginning at 3 p.m. in the vocal music room.
Students in grades nine through 12 are eligible to audition for the show.
Students should check the Drama Department’s bulletin board for more information on audition requirements.
A Bake Sale will be held in the gym lobby of the school from 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, the evening of the Junior, Senior and Jazz Bands’ fall concert. All proceeds from the bake sale will assist with the production of the musical.
