T.H.E. Loop ride set October 1st

The 6th Annual T.H.E. Loop Motorcycle Ride which raises funds for local breast cancer patients will be held Saturday, October 1.

Following the ride, there will be a series of raffles for items donated by local businesses and supporters of the cause.

Among the items that have been collected are: a copy of the DVD, Rob Roy, signed by star Liam Neeson; handmade cutting board, bird house, and tool box planter by Tom Beckingham; handmade pair of buckets/pails by Gordon Gauvin; and Rhodonite (pink) bead bracelet and earrings by South Bay Jewelry.

Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased the day of the event or by mail at: T.H.E. Loop, HC82 Box 574, Raquette Lake, NY 13436.

Card of Thanks

Thank you to all those who supported our Guest Bartending last Thursday at The Wood’s Inn in support of T.H.E. Loop motorcycle fundraising event.

You helped us raise $360 towards this year’s ride on October 1st, which benefits cancer patients at four local treatment centers.

Thank you also to Joedda and Jay for allowing us this opportunity, and a special thank you to Kelly for letting us be in her way!

Show ’em your tips: Guest bartenders Kathy Beauchamp & Mary Lamphear raising money for charity on Aug. 25

Kathy Beauchamp and Mary Lamphear will be guest bartenders at The Woods Inn on Thursday, August 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.

THE GALS that make T.H.E. Loop charity motorcycle ride possible

All tips will be donated to T.H.E. Loop, an annual fundraising motorcycle event which directly benefits breast cancer-related organizations and individuals being treated for the disease.

The 6th Annual T.H.E. (Touch, Heal, Empower) Loop is scheduled for Saturday, October 1.
