Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company will host the 2nd Annual New York SUP Festival on Saturday, July 20 at the Old Forge lakefront and at Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company on Route 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event will include races, free demos, clinics and instruction on stand up paddleboards and is designed to introduce the public to the enjoyment of stand up paddleboarding as a fitness opportunity.

SUP is a simple, easy to learn watersport that offers a full body workout.

An SUP is essentially an oversized surfboard that is specifically designed for use on either flatwater or surf.  Continue reading →
