SHARP: Trip to VIEW brings out inner artists of SHARP Participants

Pablo Picasso said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”
Well, the participants of the Senior Health Activity and Recreation Program (SHARP) proved that they still have artistic ability.

SHARP: Seniors’ April roster blooming with springy activities

The Senior Health, Activity and Rec-reation Program (SHARP) participants are looking forward to our program calendar for April. All area seniors are welcome to join us for any or all of our Wednesday activities.

Dorothy Walker: SHARP senior reflects on well-lived life

In 1945, the war was over and at the age of 18, Dorothy Walker was working in a plastic making company called Diemolding in Canastota.
She enjoyed taking pictures, so her first paycheck helped her buy her very first camera.

The new furnace had blown! Food from the ice box was thrown all over the room. Something was even ejected right through the wall leaving a hole. It was a mess, but thankfully they had not lost their temporary garage home.
