Nicole Redpath receives Robert Hazard scholarship

Susan Rimato presented Nicole Redpath with the Robert Hazard Scholarship on Friday, June 12 at Sisters Bistro in Old Forge.

The scholarship is awarded to a Town of Webb School graduate who has exhibited outstanding performance in art or music during their school career.

Susan Rimato and her sons, Rex and Remington, created the

scholarship to support young artists in the Adirondacks, and to celebrate the creative life of their late husband and father, musician Robert Hazard. Continue reading →

Morgan Payne awarded Robert Hazard Scholarship

The Robert Hazard Young Artists Scholarship for 2013 has been awarded to Alexandria (Lexie) Haehl of Old Forge. Susan Rimato and her sons, Rex and Remington, created the scholarship to support young artists in the Adirondacks, and to celebrate the creative life of their late husband and father Robert Hazard. Terren Waranis receives Hazard Scholarship

Mike Cunningham, representing the Town of Webb Community Scholar-ship Fund, presented Terren Waranis with the Robert Hazard Scholarship on Thursday, June 16 at Sisters Bistro in Old Forge.

The scholarship is awarded to a Town of Webb School graduate who has exhibited outstanding performance in art or music during their school career.

The award is named in honor of the late musician, Robert Hazard, an area resident who passed away in August 2008.

It is made possible by his wife, Susan Hazard-Rimato.

Terren, who will graduate on Friday, June 24, plays saxophone in the school’s stage band and pit band. He also plays guitar.

The scholarship will assist Terren with his expenses as he enters Finger Lakes Community College in the fall where he will study Studio Recording.
