The absentee and affidavit ballots for the general election for the Town of Webb, tallied by the Herkimer County of Elections on Wednesday, November 18, have determined Robert A. Moore the winner of the supervisor’s race.
In the closest supervisor race in recent memory, Moore nudged out opponent H. Stuart deCamp by a mere 17 votes. Continue reading

With the absentee ballots finally counted, Kathleen Farber of the Herkimer County Board of Elections has announced that Republican Theodore C. Riehle, Jr. will serve as the Town of Webb’s Supervisor.
Riehle received 72 more votes than his closest challenger, Independent candidate H. Stuart deCamp, following the opening of 162 Webb absentee ballots. Riehle was also challenged by Democrat Dave Berkstresser and Independent candidate Richard S. Risley.
The final results for the Supervisor race in Webb voting districts 1 and 2, are as follows: Theodore C. Riehle, Jr., 456 votes; H. Stuart deCamp, 384 votes; David W. Berkstresser, 166 votes; and Richard Risley, 87 votes. Continue reading
The Herkimer County Board of Elections has released the official results of the September 13 primary elections in the Town of Webb.
In the Republican race for Town Justice, John W. Graham received 319 votes and Patrick J. Venetz received 145.
In the Republican race for Town Supervisor, Theodore C. Riehle, Jr. received 327 votes to Richard S. Risley’s 115. In a close Democrat race for Supervisor, David W. Berkstresser got 56 votes and George T. Hiltebrant, 50. There was one write-in vote for Stuart deCamp.
All of the above candidates, with the exception of George Hiltebrant, will appear on the ballot as independents in the general election on Tuesday, November 8.
