Town of Webb school elementary students reached their goal for Picking A Reading Partner (PARP) on Tuesday, March 15th.

The Town of Webb school’s Pick A Reading Partner (PARP) will kick-off their 2016 program for students in grades kindergarten through fifth on Friday, February 19th in the school’s distance learning room.
This year, the program adopted a new name. PARP had previously stood for Parents As Reading Partners.

Town of Webb Union Free School District elementary students had the opportunity to meet a miniature horse named River, when he visited the school on Monday afternoon, March 16th.

Inlet Common School kicked off its annual PARP program on Tuesday, February 24 to the theme of Cook up a Good Book. In keeping with the theme, students and teachers traveled to the Seventh Lake House and became chefs for a day.
Students prepared a lunch of turkey toes, roasted tomato bread soup, vegetable and cheese flatbread, and Oreo Balls under the direction of Chef Jim Holt. Everyone created a hand-designed apron and demonstrated proper table etiquette as they enjoyed the meal. Continue reading
