LETTER: One promising presidential person stands above

To the Editor:

I’d like to put in my “two cents” in regard to the upcoming New York State primary.* I realize “two cents” means nothing in comparison to “The Donald’s” millions, but maybe even my little contribution will carry some weight.

Differing opinions best served from a place of understanding

To the Editor:

Since returning to live in Old Forge a year ago (after two years living in urban Cleveland, Ohio), I am constantly reminded of the unique circumstances of living in a small close-knit community.

To the Editor:

Kudos to The Weekly Adirondack for the detailed and positive coverage of Webb Police Department activities. And congratulations to Officer Birtle for well deserved recognition!

Note that Herkimer County Sheriff Chris Farber was recently elected President of the New York State Sheriff’s Association by his peers. He and other officers were sworn in by Herkimer County Judge John Brennan. The meeting was in Albany.

People haven’t been very nice to me. My mother has been treated very well by most. I have been cast to the side by a lot of people and treated horribly. It is to the point where I have lost all faith in humanity.  Continue reading
