Webb: State Police investigation continues into fatal car accident

State Police in Remsen are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 6 a.m. on State Route 28 in the Town of Webb.

The investigation revealed that the operator of the vehicle, Joshua C. Zbytniewski, age 20, from  New Hartford, NY and his passenger, Seth S. Luscomb, age 20, from New Hartford, NY were traveling south bound on State Route 28 when Zbyntniewski lost control of the vehicle on a curve in the roadway.  Continue reading →

Police Dept. Audit: Webb Supervisor updates board, describes expectations

Town of Webb Police Commis-sioner Ted Riehle presented an update to the Town of Webb Board on Monday, October 20, about the ongoing investigation and audit of the town’s police department.

Also made public was the agreement, approved by the Town Board, that opened the activity on July 28 under the direction of Joseph Loszynski, a Queensbury, NY investigator.  Continue reading →
