Returning to Mexico: Inlet Community Church members to continue orphanage building mission

The Inlet Community Church group of 22 individuals who will be traveling to Mexico in March to assist with a mission to build an orphanage are planning upcoming fund-raising initiatives to assist with their efforts.

Representatives of the group will be selling raffle tickets at Old Forge Winter Carnival at McCauley Mountain on Saturday, February 6.  Continue reading

Inlet Community Church readies Sunday Shuttle

Beginning June 14, Inlet Community Church will offer a free shuttle from Old Forge to the church each Sunday morning throughout the summer for its 10:15 a.m. service.

“As people flock to the Adirondacks in the summer for rest and relaxation, we hope to encourage many to deepen that respite by including refreshment for their souls,” said Pastor Phil Huber.

Pick-up stops will be at Lakeside Terrace at 9:35 a.m., Point Park at 9:40 a.m., and the Old Forge Camping Resort at 9:45 a.m.   Continue reading

Inlet Community Church hosting event on Aug. 21

A baby shower will be held at Inlet Community Church on Thursday, August 21 at 7 p.m. to help fill the shelves at the Care Net Pregnancy Center in Utica.

Items in need include: infant to size 2 toddler clothes, number 4 and 5 diapers, Walmart gift cards, onesies, layette items and postage stamps.

It is requested that gifts be wrapped. Cards are not needed. Refreshments will be served.

The Inlet Community Church is located on South Shore Rd., next to the Marina Motel.

Inlet Community Church: Meet new Pastor and family at July 20th BBQ

The congregation of Inlet Community Church has welcomed Phil Huber to serve as their pastor.

Huber was a pastor for seven years in the Syracuse area before transitioning to a career in retail management for the last eight years.
