Old Forge Fire Chief Charlie Bogardus, volunteer firefighter Larry Ventura Town of Webb Patrolman Cody Luebbert visited Town of Webb school students in grades kindergarten through fifth on Thursday, October 15 as part of National Fire Prevention Week.

Chief Bogardus talked to the children about the dangers of handling matches and cigarette lighters, the importance of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and what to do in case of a fire emergency, specifically how to dial 911. Continue reading →
