Carolyn Belknap was honored recently with the Fulton Chain of Lakes Association (FCLA) Service Award for 2015, which was presented to her by Tom McCabe.

The award is given to a director that has made a significant contribution to FCLA.

Carolyn has been a member of FCLA for many years and joined the Board of Directors in 2010.  Continue reading

Fulton Chain of Lakes Assn. hosts 2015 Annual Meeting

The Fulton Chain of Lakes Association (FCLA) held its annual meeting at the Woods Inn on Friday, August 7th.

Herkimer County Sherriff Christopher Farber was on hand and discussed his department’s efforts to patrol the lakes to insure safety on the water.

Mike Schreppel, president of FCLA, discussed the organization’s efforts to protect the waters of the Fulton Chain.  Continue reading

Public welcome to attend Fulton Chain of Lakes Assn. Annual Meeting

The Fulton Chain of Lakes Association (FCLA) will hold its annual meeting at the Woods Inn in Inlet on Friday, August 7.

The annual meeting will be an opportunity for everyone who is interested in the Fulton Chain of Lakes to meet board members, learn more about the FCLA, ask questions, and express ideas and concerns. Continue reading

Fulton Chain of Lakes Association holds annual meeting at Woods Inn

The Fulton Chain of Lakes Association (FCLA) held its annual meeting at the Woods Inn in Inlet on Saturday, August 16 with more than 50 people in attendance. Prior to the meeting, attendees enjoyed a cookout and live music.

Featured at the meeting was a display describing FCLA’s efforts to maintain and improve the water quality and safety on the lakes.

Jim Murphy was presented with the “Outstanding Service Award” in appreciation of his service as president of the organization for the past four years.

Mike Schreppel was appointed to serve as current president.

Fulton Chain of Lakes Assn. Annual Meeting set Aug. 16 at Woods Inn

The Fulton Chain of Lakes Association (FCLA) will hold its annual meeting at the Woods Inn in Inlet on Saturday, August 16th.

The meeting will begin with a cookout and live music at 6 p.m.

There will be a cash bar. All are invited to come by car or boat.

The cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members, which includes a one-year membership to FCLA. Continue reading
