Author and historian Hallie Bond will offer a presentation, Eating Local in the Adirondacks: A History, at the Old Forge Library on Tuesday September 2 at 7 p.m.
In her lastest book, Adirondack Cookbook, which she co-authored with veteran chef Stephen Topper, Bond combines her historical research on regional food ways with Topper’s reinvention of traditional cuisine for a fresh take on Adirondack dining. Continue reading
