Eagle Bay tree lighting party set Dec. 6

The Town of Webb and the Eagle Bay Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will kick-off the yuletide season with a Tree Lighting Party on Saturday, December 6.

The event will begin  at 5 p.m. at the new Eagle Bay Welcome Center located at the corner of Big Moose Rd. and Rte. 28.

Christmas caroling around the community Christmas tree will be followed by the tree lighting.

Once the tree is lit, all are invited to enjoy refreshments and a pot luck supper at the Eagle Bay Fire Hall.

Penny Beach and Bonnie Amidon, co-chairs of the event, request that participants bring their appetites and a dish to pass.

Santa Claus has promised to stop by and bring gifts for all the good little kids in attendance, so anyone who will be bringing along a child is asked to call (315) 390-4006 ASAP and let Santa’s helper know how many will attend.
