Falling Leaves Craft Fair returns to Park Ave. Building on Aug. 30th

A Falling Leaves Craft Fair is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 30 at the Park Avenue Building in Old Forge.

The fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature quilts, pottery, floral arrangements, jewelry, jams and jellies, and many more homemade items.

Coffee, beverages and donuts from the Eagle Bay Donut Shop will be available for purchase on-site.  Continue reading

Old Forge: Craft Fair to benefit Strand Theatre, Saturday, Oct. 5th

The work of artists, artisans and crafters will be on display and available for sale at the Falling Leaves Craft Fair on Saturday, October 5 at the Park Avenue Building in Old Forge.

The event, hosted by the Old Forge Ballet Company, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with all proceeds benefitting the Go Digital or Go Dark Fund in support of the Strand Theatre’s digital conversion.

Among the crafters—local and from across the state—who will be present are Amy and Jens Bartel of Old Forge with their display of hand-sewn greeting cards, Mary Blanchard of Raquette Lake with her handmade jewelry, Andrée Dennis Newton of Old Forge with her Native American carvings, and Louise Watson of Thendara with her handknit headbands.

Falling Leaves Craft Fair returns Saturday, Aug. 31

A Falling Leaves Craft Fair is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 31 at the Park Avenue Building in Old Forge. The fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature quilts, pottery, floral arrangements, jewelry, jams and jellies, and many more homemade items.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site.

A Cookie Walk will also take place throughout the event. Anyone wishing to support the walk can drop their homebaked cookies off by 10 a.m. the day of the fair.

Raquette Lake Craft Fair set Aug. 13

The Raquette Lake Parents Teachers and Friends organization will sponsor the 21st annual Arts and Crafts Fair at the Raquette Lake School on Rt. 28 on Saturday, August 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This is a juried show with all items being displayed for sale the work of the exhibitor on site, the majority of who reside in the Adirondack Park.

Among the Adirondack artists exhibiting their work are Fawn Ridge Pottery of Chestertown and South Bay Jewelry of Raquette Lake.
