Community Pride Day: Organizers finalize May 7 clean-up activities

All Central Adirondack residents are reminded that Wednesday, May 7th is Community Pride Day. All volunteers are being asked to check in and sign up early for a section of roadway and reserve a shirt size.

By signing up, this ensures all roads get the attention needed to be ready for summer. Signing up early also lets us know how many people to expect for lunch. Continue reading

Community Pride Day slated for May 7th; sponsorship sign-up deadline is March 25

Community Pride Day, the 13th annual clean-up day that involves the communities of Thendara, Old Forge, Eagle Bay, Big Moose, Inlet, Raquette Lake, Blue Mountain Lake, Long Lake, Indian Lake, and Speculator, is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7th.

Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and a free lunch for their efforts.  Continue reading
