VIEW to host 10th Annual Chili Bowl Luncheon on Feb. 20

VIEW, the arts center in Old Forge, will host the 10th Annual Chili Bowl Luncheon on Saturday, February 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. VIEW volunteers will serve homemade chili, stews, and soups prepared and donated by local restaurants.

The food that will be served in bowls from the Pottery Studio at VIEW as well as from many artists who deliver their bowls from towns nearby and as far away as Ithaca and Syracuse. This year the potters have made many styles of bowls featuring a variety of surface decorations. Continue reading →

Chili Bowl Luncheon: VIEW says thank you for successful event

Everyone at VIEW Arts Center wants to extend a big thank you to all those who contributed to this year’s Chili Bowl Luncheon.

This was a total team effort by the VIEW Staff, volunteers, and community. We had more restaurants donate chili and more table sponsors, resulting  in over $7,000 being raised.

The ViIEW staff and volunteers served over 200 people in a little over two hours. Continue reading →

VIEW, the multi-arts center in Old Forge, will host the 9th Annual Chili Bowl Luncheon on Saturday, February 21 from 11:30 a.m until 1:30 p.m.

Homemade meat and vegetarian chili, stews and soups prepared by local restaurants will be served in handmade bowls created at the Pottery Workshop at VIEW as well as from artists living in and outside the community.
