Cap-21’s annual Flower Basket Potting Party set

The Central Adirondack Partnership for the 21st Century (CAP-21) will be holding its 16th Annual Hanging Flower Basket Party on Wednesday, June 10 from 4 p.m., at the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center and Pavilion on North Street in Old Forge.

All are welcome to come and dig in the dirt. Just bring some gardening gloves and a gardening shovel or trowel.  Continue reading

CAP-21: Info session for non-profits rescheduled

The information session geared for representatives of community non-profit organizations that was to be held at the Old Forge Library on Tuesday, May 12 has been rescheduled for Thursday, June 4 at 1 p.m.

The program, hosted by Adirondack Foundation and CAP-21, will offer information on ways Adirondack Gives can provide non-profit organizations with free on-line fundraising dedicated to specific purposes.  Continue reading

CAP-21 to co-host program for area non-profits, May 12

Representatives of area non-profit organizations are invited to an informational session on how crowdfunding can be used to support their work. It will be held at the Community Room of the Old Forge Library on Tuesday, May 12 at 2 p.m.

The hour-long program will be hosted by CAP-21 and Adirondack Foundation and led by Chris Morris. Continue reading

Adirondack groups partner to raise funds for Inlet’s Senior/Community Center
