Louise Gaylord's latest novel set in Adirondacks

Author, Louise Gaylord, a summer resident of Old Forge for 40 years, will be signing her latest Allie Armington Mystery, “Dark Lake”, at the Old Forge Hardware on Saturday, August 20, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The story centers around a family’s summer compound on Fourth Lake and Allie Armington’s return visit after a lapse of 15 years, when she finds her Aunt Sallie murdered and her cousin Arlene bound, gagged and drugged in their cottage.
