Adirondack Bank welcomes Al Casab to mortgage team

Adirondack Bank has announced that Albert J. Casab has been named Assistant Vice President/ Mortgage Loan Officer for the Mohawk Valley Region.

He will be serving the Utica, Rome, and Old Forge markets primarily. Al comes to Adirondack with more than 20 years of banking experience, the last 13 years in mortgage lending. Continue reading

Adirondack Bank announces recipients of upcoming Charity Golf tourney proceeds

Joanie Grande, chairperson of the the Adirondack Bank Charity Golf Classic, has announced the names of the not-for-profit organizations that will benefit from the proceeds of this year’s golf tournament.

Sharing in the proceeds will be: the Home Aide Service of the Central Adirondacks (HASCA), Camp Kiwanis, Town of Webb Historical Association, Old Forge Library, RCIL – the Inlet Seniors Program, Old Forge American Legion #893 – Wounded Warrior Program, CAP-21, Ronald McDonald Summer Camp, and Children Autism Center at UCP.

The 13th Annual Adirondack Bank Charity Golf Classic is scheduled for Monday, June 13 at the Thendara Golf Club.

In the past twelve years the tournament has raised close to $350,000 for area non-profit organizations.

New Adirondack Bank location opening to customers on May 16

The new Adirondack Bank of Old Forge on Codling Street will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, May 28, but doors to the 3,682 square foot building will open to customers on Monday, May 16.

Old Forge Branch Manager Sandy Booton said that customers can expect new expanded hours at its new facility effective Monday. Continue reading
