The Town of Webb boys varsity basketball team will be facing Hamilton in their first Section III, Class D sectional game in thirteen years on Friday, February 12th at 7 p.m. in the Webb school’s gymnasium.
“Our regular season record had us in the top eight [12–8], which qualified us for a home game,” said Webb Head Coach Thomas Greco.

With the Town of Webb Historical Association’s (TOWHA) Board of Trustees informing its members that the organization can no longer shoulder the financial burden of the Hemmer Cottage, the Adirondack Architectural Heritage (AARCH) has stepped forward to help insure the preservation and protection of the historic structure.

The Inlet Barnstormers Snowmobile Club will hold a membership meeting on Tuesday, February 16 at 7 p.m. at the Inlet Information Center.
Election of officers will take place during the meeting. You must be a member to vote.
All are welcome to come and meet fellow snowmobilers and support the local club.
Dinner will be served following the meeting.

The Fulton Chain of Lakes Performing Arts Council, Inc. will bring the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra to Arrowhead Park in Inlet for the fifth consecutive year on Friday, July 29.

The first item on the February 27 agenda in Inlet will be the crowning of the King and Queen of 2016’s Frozen Fire and Lights at 10 a.m. in front of the Town Hall.
Following their coronation, Greg and Toni Rudd will preside over the various events such as the cardboard sled races and kids snowmobile races at Fern Park, as well as the free hot dog and hot chocolate stand at Arrowhead Park prior to the magnificent fireworks display over 4th Lake. The Town of Webb Board and the Old Forge Ambulance Corps entered into an agreement on November 19, 2015, committing the town to partial funding of Advanced Life Support (ALS) administered by the Ambulance Corps. The service began on January 1, 2016.
The need for this funding came about because over 70% of ambulance calls require this level of care.
In years past, the Ambulance Corps was able to staff its operations with volunteer EMTs and Paramedics (ALS providers) from the community. Continue reading →
