Webb police report recent law enforcement activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following recent law enforcement activity.

• A 45-year-old Thendara woman was chared with Aggravated Unlicesed Operation in the 2nd Degree following an incident that occurred on Wednesday, November 18th.

According to the report, the above named defendant was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while having a revoked driving privilege in New York state following a refusal to submit to a chemical test. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable at a later date in the Town of Webb Court.

Memorial services held for Reverend Frederick G. Reed, 86

Reed, FredThe Reverend Frederick G. Reed, 86, passed away November 3, 2015 at his home in Gloucester, VA.

He was born on September 11, 1929 in Old Forge, NY, son of Frank and Mary (Winifred) Reed.

He graduated from high school in 1947 and served in the Air Force from 1948 until 1952.

Reverend Reed graduated from Centre College of Ken-tucky in 1958 and Louisville Presbyterian Seminary in 1961 and was ordained a Presbyterian Minister.  Continue reading
