An open letter to our local community WPOA Annual Meeting to feature Legislators Russell and Bono

To all interested community members:

Webb Property Owners Association (WPOA) is trying a different approach this year in hopes of maximizing community participation at our upcoming Annual Meeting. Our  Officers and Board Members decided to hold it on a Saturday morning.

It has been scheduled for August 8 at 10 a.m. at Niccolls Memorial Presbyterian Church, 228 Crosby Blvd., Old Forge.  Continue reading

Public welcome to attend Fulton Chain of Lakes Assn. Annual Meeting

The Fulton Chain of Lakes Association (FCLA) will hold its annual meeting at the Woods Inn in Inlet on Friday, August 7.

Moss Lake walking tour set for Aug. 5th

The Town of Webb Historical Association will offer a walking tour of Moss Lake on Wednesday, August 5. uiding the tour will be Geof Longstaff, son of George Longstaff, former owner of the Moss Lake Camp for Girls.

Interested hikers can meet at the Moss Lake Trailhead on the Big Moose Road for the 9:30 a.m. trek around the lake which will take place rain or shine. ar pooling is suggested. Continue reading

Gwen Tracy Band to perform in Inlet

Gwen Tracy Band will perform during Inlet’s “Sunsets by the Lake” Summer Concert Series on Saturday, August 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Arrowhead Park Lakefront. All are welcome to bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy a spectacular sunset. Rain location is Fern Park Pavilion.

Gwen Tracy is back on stage as The Gwen Tracy Band, with husband Chris Deuss on percussion/harmonica/mandolin, mom Bonnie Tracy on the bass, and dad Jim Tracy on vocals/guitar. Continue reading

Cousins that Care plan 5K Run/Walk Aug. 15

The Cousins that Care are planning their third annual 5k run/walk to raise funds for their charitable work giving to families in need, charities and scholarships.

The event will take place Saturday, August 15 and will begin and end at the Ole Barn restaurant on Limekiln Road in Inlet. Continue reading
