LETTER: Proud of Ad’k Spirit at One Square Mile of Hope

Congrats to all those kayakers who participated in Saturday’s One Square Mile of Hope near Inlet, NY.

We watched from our pontoon boat in the pouring rain as over 3,000 tried to beat the Guinness World Record for floating, touching kayaks/canoes.

When their paddles went up as a seaplane went over to take their official picture, we were never so proud of the stamina of Adirondackers to attempt connecting in the inclement weather!
