I would like to start by thanking everyone for the positive thoughts, prayers, cards and hugs since the death of my Dad on May 7th.
His loss leaves such a huge hole in the lives of my siblings and entire family, and it is the end of an era for us.

In May 1920, Charles O’Hara leased the Pratt Camp to Grace E. Jackson of Newark, N.J. for the establishment of an exclusive summer girls’ camp called Nytis Loge. 
“Nytis Loge” is a Native American phrase interpreted as “the place where good friends come.”19

The Inlet Common School held its annual graduation ceremony and choral concert Tuesday, June 24th at Saint Anthony’s church hall. 
Johanna Lutz, Natalie Brownsell, and Rianna Lindsay—three young ladies who attended Inlet K-6—walked across the stage to receive diplomas in recognition of their years of hard work. They will make the transition into 7th grade at the Town of Webb in the fall. 
The kindergarten class made up of Alayna Nerschook, Ethan Quinn, Thomas Miller, Joseph Clark, and Preston Trumbauer also received diplomas in honor of completing their first year of school. 
Prior to the graduation ceremony, students K-6 performed a selection Disney songs under the direction of Tom Helmer.
Debbie Daiker’s 5th and 6th grade class rounded out the show with a choreographed dance to music from the movie Cars. 
Thirty nine locals participated in the 37th Annual Boilermaker 15K Race on Sunday, July 13 in Utica, NY. Below is a list of the local competitors, their final placement in the race and finish times. There were over 11,000 runners in this year’s race.

My dog Mutt and I had been fishing most every morning in the summer of 1978. We had a couple of great spots around Limekiln Lake where we could find enough fish and fun for the both of us.
