John Briant, author of the popular Adirondack Detective series, will give a talk on the newly-released seventh book in the series, Adirondack Detective – As Autumn Leaves Turn, on Tuesday, August 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Old Forge Library.
This new episode in the life of Jason Black, a retired detective and former New York State Trooper, finds Black and his family back at their log home in Old Forge.
Jason soon finds himself caught up in circumstances involving the unfamiliar world of honey bees.
A retired Long Island detective who shares Jason’s love of the Adirondacks adds some interesting insight to this new mystery.
The program is free and open to the public. A reception and book signing will follow.
