The 16th Annual Adirondack Polka Fest will be held at the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center on North Street on Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26th.
The two-day event, which will be held from 1 to 9 p.m., will feature music by top polka bands, dancing and Polish food. On Saturday, the featured bands will be Tony Blazonczyk and New Phaze of Chicago, IL and the Massachusetts-based Eddie Forman Orchestra.
Hank Guzevich and Polka Family and New Direction will take to the stage on Sunday.
A Polka Mass featuring Polka Family is scheduled for noon on Sunday.
Admission is $18 per person per day, or $32 for a two-day pass. Those under the age of 17 are admitted free. Organizers are extending special ticket pricing of $5 for Old Forge area residents who would like to attend the event after 5 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Central Adirondack Association and hosted by Dave Sychtysz, Western & Central New York Polka promoter.
