The Adirondack Reader of Inlet will host the Fifth Annual Authors Fair and Book Signing on Sunday, August 14 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Reggie Chambers, owner of the book store, has gathered 25 popular regional authors who will have the opportunity to meet their readers and sign and sell books.
This year’s participants include Gary and Justin Van Riper, authors of the Adirondack Kids series and Gladys Montgomery, author of “An Elegant Wilderness: Great Camps and Grand Lodges of the Adirondacks, 1855-1935.
Also in attendance will be John Briant, author of the Adirondack Detective series.
Briant will bring along copies of the newly-released seventh book in his series, Adirondack Detective: As Autumn Leaves Turn.
Adirondack artists JC Parker and Walt Hagues will also be present and will exhibit their paintings.
The Authors Fair will take place under a tent and will be presented rain or shine.
