Local writer and poet Michael Cunningham will emcee an Open Mic Night at the Old Forge Library on Wednesday, November 14 at 7 p.m.
Cunningham is an English teacher at Town of Webb School who has had his work published in Northern Logger and Adirondack Life magazines. A native of Louisiana, his latest work of fiction is set in New Orleans.
For planning purposes, anyone wishing to share their work can call the library at (315) 369-6008. The public is welcome to come and enjoy the program.
The event is co-sponsored by Adirondack Center for Writing, and similar programs are being planned for the future.
