One of the many events enjoyed at the Great Adirondack Moose Festival held last weekend in Indian Lake was a Moose Calling Contest for adults and youths on Saturday, September 22 at the Indian Lake Theater.
The winner in the kids’ category was Cullen Rose, 11, of Inlet.
Cullen, a sixth grade student at the Inlet Common School, prepared for the contest by trying to emulate the calls of moose he found on the internet.
He is the grandson of Nick and Cindy Rose and the great grandson of Letty Haynes of Inlet.
