Town adjusts rates and requirements for events at McCauley and pavilion

The Town of Webb Board discussed the current use fees of the McCauley Mountain Chalet and the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center at its regular monthly board meeting on Tuesday, February 14.

Following the discussion, Supervisor Ted Riehle made a motion to the board to standardize and streamline the usage fees for the two buildings.

The motion was seconded by J.B. Herron and passed unanimously by the board.

The final decision was that the rental fees of  both venues would be the same, and that non-profits and family events should not cost as much as a for-profit event. It was decided the not-for-profits would be charged $75 per day to utilize either facility, and family and community events will cost users $400 a day.

It was also decided that for-profit businesses and organizations would be charged a rate of $600 a day.

The pricing includes time to set up and break down in the days before and after each event.

Additionally, all parties will be subject to a refundable cleaning and utilities usage deposit of $500.
