View is seeking entries for the 8th Annual Northeast National Pastel Exhibition which will be on display between from May 12 through June 30.The Juror of Selection for the Pastel Exhibition will be Alain Picard of the Pastel Society of America.
Alain, who lives with his wife and two sons in Southbury, CT has had work featured in The Artist’s Magazine, and The Pastel Journal.
Also, in 2009, the Portrait Society of America Conference in Washington, D.C. awarded Picard the Best Portfolio Award.
This year’s Juror of Awards will be Martha Deming, also ofthe Pastel Society of America.
Martha Deming is member of many regional and national art organizations, and has earned signature membership from the Pastel Society of America, and the Central New York Watercolor Society.
Martha was one of the founders of the Northeast National Pastel Exhibition as well as the annual Old Forge Plein Air Paint Out.
Over $5,500 in cash prizes and products will be awarded at the exhibition. The deadline to enter is Monday, February 13.
