Norm and Joy Rannels, in conjunction with the Town of Webb Recreation Department, hosted a Volleyball Tournament at the Town of Webb School on Sunday, January 15.
I would like thank Norm and Joy for bringing their passion for Volleyball and the idea for the tournament to the table, for recruiting the teams, and for bringing it all together for such a successful event.
Prize donations were generously donated by Billy’s restaurant, GiGi’s Bar and Grill, The Old Forge Hardware, The Strand Theatre, View, Tony Harper’s, and Walt’s Diner.
Special thanks go to the School for allowing the event, and to the Janitorial person for coming in on his day off.
Congratulations and a big thank you to all of the players as well. Without your support, we would not have been able to pull this off; we hope that you had a fun time and that you will join us in the next tournament.
We are looking forward to providing more town events in the months to come.
