The Central Adirondack Association (CAA) held its annual meeting at the Seventh Lake House Restaurant on Wednesday, January 18.
The meeting was led by President Nick Bankert who provided a summary of the organization’s 2011 activities, partnerships and events, and outlined CAA-sponsored programs and events for 2012.
Chip Kiefer (Marketing and Treasurer), Laurie Barkauskas (Events), and Nick Rose (CAP-21, Economic Development) delivered their respective reports prior to the membership voting positively on the proposed 2012 budget of $310,650.
Following the vote, the election of members to the Board of Directors took place. New members who will serve three-year terms are Jennifer Potter-Hayes, Executive Director of View; and Mark Mayer, co-owner of Big Moose Inn.
Dick Bird, Sandy Booton, Paul Chambers, Don Haehl, Phil Martin, Gail Murray, and Mike Ross were re-elected to their posts and will serve another three years on the board.
The slate of officers elected to serve in 2012 are: Nick Bankert, president; Kelly Noonan Greene, 1st vice-president; Dale Stanton, 2nd vice-president; Chip Kiefer, treasurer; and Deb Carhart, secretary.
