The Big Moose Property Owners Association (BMPOA), on behalf of members, expressed its thanks to the Town of Webb Board for its attention to the garbage pick-up needs of the Big Moose community.
Previously, Big Moose had gathered its garbage in a bear hut, but this arrangement had recently become unfeasible.
Through the efforts of the town board and the Town of Webb Department of Public Works a solution was found, though not without difficulty, to the satisfaction of Big Moose residents.
Webb Supervisor Robert Moore acknowledged the work of DPW Superintendent Mark Hudon in the matter.
BMPOA also expressed thanks to Webb Highway Superintendent Casey Crofut, who they said gave admirable attention to the Higby Road and orchestrated its repair.
